Saltimbanco is the longest-running Cirque du Soleil show on tour. Since 1992 it has been selling out venues in Europe, North America, South America, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. The show has over 11.5 million enthusiastic fans all over the world.
Saltimbanco (Italian: saltare in banco) which literally means „jumping on a bench” presents the essence of the city, the people who live in it, the similarities and differences between them, families, groups, city noise and towering skyscrapers. The show is inspired by the city and its colorful inhabitants. The eclectic group of characters with a baroque appearance take the viewers inside of the world of dreams, imagination where diversity means hope.
